Act Fast: Knowshon Moreno Out for Week 3 UPDATED

Laurence Maroney looks like the pickup here.

UPDATE: Uh, no, he doesn't. Late Friday afternoon, Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said Correll Buckhalter will start Sunday against Indianapolis, although it's obvious Maroney has the calendar and upside on his side. Maroney should get a decent number of carries on Sunday, though.

Moreno reportedly has a hamstring injury; it's assumed it happened in practice. It's not known how long he'll be out. Meanwhile, the brittle and aging Buckhalter -- who's not playing well but who did manage a TD last week -- could be a decent RB2 against a shaky Indy run defense.

If Maroney is unavailable in my league already and I have Moreno, who are some other names I should look at picking up?

Greg- Yo9u're not seriously asking fantasy advice from people who state they've been, "starting Jake Delhomme since 1999" are you? lol That's just too funny.

As far as your question, I have no idea who is available in your league, but take a look at Peyton Hillis (Cle). Yes they're playing Baltimore this week, but Peyton has 2 TDs and 126 yds from scrimmage in the 1st 2 games. Might be worth a shot?

Greg- Hopefully you took my advice on Peyton Hlllis this week. He rushed for 144 yds, 1 TD, and hauled in 36 rec. yds. That would have gotten you 23 pts by most scoring systems.
